Teach Us to Pray

This week’s Gospel reading includes this request from Jesus’ disciples for help in praying.  Jesus’ response to them is the prayer we call the Lord’s Prayer, wonderfully simple and direct petitions to God. In the prayer we praise God and ask for all the things that we truly need. But the prayer also acknowledges who God is for us – our loving Father who graciously provides all that we need.

Worship this week is at 10:30 am.  I’m back from vacation and eager to join with you in worship and thanksgiving!

See you in church!

Pastor Kent
