Christ is King!

Sunday is Christ the King Sunday. It is fitting that we end the church year with the proclamation of Christ as our Lord.

We worship at 9 am and at 10:30 am. Sunday School follows the 9 am service and coffee will be available between services in the Family Room.

Advent starts on December 2. We will have one service at 10:30 am and it is Youth Sunday! After worship we will bless the nativity scene and then go to Fellowship Hall for our Advent Lunch. Lunch will be provided, but you are invited to bring a dessert to share. We will have the opportunity to make advent wreaths for home use — suggested donation for the materials is $7. There will be other crafts for the children as well. All are welcome — bring a friend!

Donations are still needed for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Money donations are welcome, but cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products are also needed. In addition, our local food bank is in need of non perishable foods and paper products.

Our annual pledge period begins next week. Look for a letter containing your pledge card. I urge you to prayerfully consider the level of giving that is right for you and encourage you to consider growing your pledge toward a tithe (10% of income).

See you in Church!
Pastor Kent
